  • VivunOne Admins can edit a user’s role from the user profile under Settings > Users by clicking Modify.

Users and Teams – The following improvements to the User and Team Management interface in Vivun Settings are available, including:

  • Filtering on the User table shows the filter criteria as dropdowns.
  • The ability to add multiple users at once to a team under Teams.

Third-Party Cookies for Login – You no longer need to enable third-party cookies for login to VivunOne.

 

PreSales Operations

Enhancements

Hero Activity Status – To provide a more streamlined experience, the ‘Status’ for a Hero Activity is removed from all Hero Activity slide-outs.

Team Member Request Exception – You now have the ability to mark a Team Member Request in Vivun as an exception and submit it.

Hero Score Now Includes Gaps – The Hero Score model and associated visualization now includes Opportunity Gaps on the timeline.

Calendar Improvements – The following improvements to Vivun Calendar are now available:

  • Filters for Account and Opportunity in the Calendar Event Table are moved to Set Preferences dropdown.
  • Event Details now include Attendee Status for every attendee.

Account & Opportunity Gap Slideout: Product Gap Suggestions – When you open an existing Account or Opportunity Gap in the slideout, LLM powered suggestions are available when you click ‘Get Suggestions.’

Cross-Object Filtering on Lookup Fields – Cross-object filtering on lookup fields is now supported.

Vivun-Jira Cloud Integration Improvements – There are now additional details included in Jira Cloud from Vivun Product, Account, and Opportunity Gaps, along with an updated UI for a better user experience.

Enhancements

Overlays on Image Steps – You can now add overlays on image steps, with a similar experience to adding an overlay to a captured screen.

My Library – All Guides and Collections created by you are now located under one menu, My Library. You can add new Guides, Collections, or Folders and add Guides and Collections into Folders. You can also search My Library to find Guides, Collections, or Folders created by you or shared with you.

Share Collections With Your Organization – You can now share and unshare Collections with your organization.

Rename Media Steps – You can rename Media Steps in a Guide.

Extension Screenshots – The ability to take a screenshot is now available from the extension; the experience is similar to capturing a screen.

  • Recurring Events in Calendar – When you link an entire event series from your calendar, if you select ‘All Events,’ Vivun sets the number of days to recur to 7. Previously, the calendar set the recurring event to 90 days.

  • Team Member Metrics Updates – The Team Member Metrics dashboard now includes:

  • Login Updates:
    • If your organization only uses Salesforce for authentication, you cannot disable the connection once configured.
    • Access to Vivun is only available with the Salesforce account associated with Vivun.
    • To confirm you are logging into the correct organization, you are prompted to login when switching to a different Vivun organization.
  • Users and Teams Improvements – Various updates to improve the experience when adding, updating, and uploading users and teams.

  • Customize Opportunity Layout Configuration – You can now customize the Opportunity Layout for your organization.

Vivun Platform Release 1.3

June – December 2023

The following features and enhancements were released between June and December 2023 for Product-Field Alignment, PreSales Operations, and Demo Automation. Check out our Knowledge Center for more details and documentation.

PreSales Operations and Product-Field Alignment

Features

  • Filters on Lookup Fields – Vivun now respects filters added to user lookup fields in Salesforce on Deliverables, Hero Activities, Accounts, and Opportunities.
  • List Views Asynchronous Export – You now have the ability to export up to 100,000 records from Vivun asynchronously to avoid API Gateway timeouts and execution time limits. The export continues in the background, and you receive a notification when complete; do not close the window while the export is in progress.
  • Optimistic Opportunity Updates – As part of continuous improvements to the Vivun user experience, now when you update an Opportunity from the Funnel or slide-out, those updates are reflected in Vivun immediately. If updates to the Opportunity do not sync, you receive an error and a Hero Alert with the option to retry or view your unsynced edits. Additionally, if another user makes changes to the same Opportunity before your changes sync, you receive a message with the ability to review before syncing.

Enhancements

  • Hero Score Settings – Manual input of PreSales Stages and Primary Competitor are no longer relevant to the score calculation, as we automatically calculate and track the historical win rates for PreSales Stages against certain competitors.
  • Funnel Saved Views – In PreSales Operations, if a user is no longer licensed, their public saved views on the Funnel are excluded and cannot be selected by others.
  • Filters on Lookup Fields – Vivun now respects filters added to user lookup fields in Salesforce on Deliverables, Hero Activities, Accounts, and Opportunities.
  • Account Fields on Opportunity Filters – The Funnel and Opportunity List Views now provide the ability to pull Account Fields into the Opportunity Filter, allowing you to search Opportunities by related Account information.
  • List View Column Totals – All List Views now include totals for columns with formula currency values.
  • Jira App Authentication Change – The Jira Integration’s authentication is updated to provide a backwards compatible connection, and ensures a more stable connection.
  • User Experience Improvements:
    • The Hero logo is replaced with an App Switcher in anticipation of VivunOne and our move to one platform. You can navigate between the modules you have access to. Workspace opens Funnel View and Product Alignment opens List View. If you are not a  Demo Automation or Xpert Analytics customer, you are redirected to Vivun’s website. 
    • The browser favicon is updated from an H to a V.
    • The navigation paths for Settings and the Integration user are updated. 
  • Permission Sets – To better align with the action performed under Permission Sets in Settings, the text above the buttons to create permission sets, schedule a sync, and manually run a sync are updated.
  • Improved Saved Views on the Funnel: 
    • An indicator bar to show your current selection.
    • Hot keys for Search, Views, and Filters using the tab key on your keyboard.
  • Clear Dependent Fields When Parent Field Clears – When a new Hero Activity is created and the parent field is cleared, the dependent children field(s) also clear. Similarly when you select a child field, the parent field automatically populates.

Demo Automation

Features

  • Links in Tooltips – You can now add links in tooltips that take your Guide viewers to an external website.
  • Guide Collections – You now have the ability to create, edit, and share a curated selection of Guides as a Collection. 
  • Media Steps – Add images or videos as a separate step to your Guide. The images and videos are sized to maintain a proper aspect ratio, and include a default cover page if the first step in a Guide. The following file types are supported: 
    • Image – JPEG, GIF, or PNG up to 1GB
    • Video – WEBM or MP4 up to 1GB
  • Guide Details – See views and viewer data on each Guide. Guide Details allows you to see total Guide views, total unique Guide viewers, average Guide view duration. Additionally, you can see  the user(s) that viewed the Guide, how many steps they saw and their Guide completion rate, and how long they spent on the Guide. You also have access to insights for each individual Guide step, including the step type, screen it appears on, and the average duration and exit rate for the step. 
  • Viewer Insights – Drill-down to see specific insights related to viewers of your Guides.
  • Share and Unshare Guides – The ability to share and unshare Guides, as well as view Guides shared with you is now available. Once you share a Guide, a people icon appears to let you know that guide is shared. By default, Organization Access is set to Restricted. You can change the sharing setting from Restricted to ‘Anyone in your organization,’ which allows anyone part of your organization to view your Guide. The Guide then appears for users in your organization under their ‘Shared With Me’ page. You can revoke access to shared Guides at any time.
  • Duplicate Guides – You can now duplicate Guides from My Guides. Duplicated Guides include ‘copy’ at the end of the Guide name, with each additional copy including a number; for example, ‘My Cool Guide,’ ‘My Cool Guide copy,’ ‘My Cool Guide Copy 2,’ and so on.
  • Add Hotspot Overlay – In addition to tooltips and editing text, you can now add, delete, and reorder hotspots as an overlay on captured screens. The hotspot adds a border around the element, and a pulsing dot.

Enhancements

  • Viewer Identification – For Guides or Collections that are shared externally, you can now require viewers to enter their email address to access a Guide or Collection.
  • Navigation Improvements
    • When you click to edit a Guide, the Guide opens in edit mode in a new tab. This is available by clicking the pencil icon to edit a Guide from either My Guides List or Grid views. 
    • The File menu in edit mode of a Guide is updated to include Add To Collection, Duplicate, Rename, and Delete.
  • Guide Editing Updates
    • Now in edit mode of a Guide, when you add a text Overlay without heading or body text, the placeholder text “Heading” and “Body” is not visible to guide viewers. Instead, the Overlay’s Heading and Body fields are optional.
    • The keyboard shortcut to capture a screen is updated to CTRL + SHIFT + S so it can be used on both Mac and Windows.
    • Embedding Guides in iFrames is now supported. 
  • Film Strip Updates 
    • Click the thumbnail of a captured screen to go to the first step on the selected thumbnail.
    • Expand and collapse the film strip by clicking on the arrow while in edit mode.
    • A video icon appears to denote a video step.
  • Tooltip Improvements – You can now click the pulsing dot from a tooltip or hotspot and go to the next step in the Guide. Additionally, entered text autosaves when adding or editing tooltip text.
  • Overlay Settings – You can now adjust your overlay’s orientation and alignment, turn a hotspot on or off, and show or hide the navigation buttons. 
  • Guide Preview – You now have the ability to preview a Guide from the step you are currently on while in edit mode as well as from the beginning of the title page. You can also ‘‘Restart Guide’ once you reach the last step.
